In the past couple of weeks, there has been a concerted effort to get people to stop looking for Madeleine. Some argue the search costs too much, others say it's hopeless. We don't believe the search for Madeleine is hopeless and putting up polls asking if the search should stop is not only crass, it's cruel. How can one put a price on the life of a child?

With that being said, I, and I alone, have made the decision to block ANYONE who thwarts the search for Madeleine via social media--whether that be with running commentary on the investigation, posting negative comments about the search/investigation/cost, or saying Madeleine is a lost cause. We believe Madeleine is alive and we have great faith in The Met.

If you cannot be supportive of the search for Madeleine, please unlike/unfollow our social media pages. We want people who are hopeful and actually care about Madeleine being found supporting us. WE NEED YOUR HELP to find her and we don't want negative comments filling our feeds. I hope all can understand how we need to remain positive and hopeful Madeleine will come home. We need you to be positive and hopeful too. Thank you to ALL who care about Madeleine and want her to be found and reunited with her family. We are extremely grateful for your support!

New book: 'Lies & Deception' Madeleine McCann - the impossible kidnapping by Peter Scharrenberg

Journalist Peter Scharrenberg studied the very large Portuguese police file on the missing three-year-old British toddler Madeleine McCann.  She disappeared on May 3, 2007 mysteriously from her bed in a Portuguese holiday village, where she go with her parents Gerry and Kate, was on vacation.  According to them, she is kidnapped by a pedophile burglar.
 Scharrenberg has in his research two key witnesses in the cases have been found which are obviously completely forgotten or overlooked are seen by the police and who have played no role in the research.  These two witnesses have, however, already one day after the loss, made very incriminating statements to Gerry McCann, Madeleine's father.  Because of this there must be serious doubts about the accuracy of the timeline that has been made at the time by the police and is always used as a guide in the investigation.  The implications of the statements of these two 'forgotten' witnesses are enormous, as this seems to be demonstrated that Father Gerry itself the "kidnapper" was.  In addition, these statements come from a Roman Catholic priest and a retired British businessman picture as possible of helping hands to hide the little body of the toddler.  Both men are never investigated.
 In this book he also describes the main findings, witness statements and forensic evidence and put it into context, making it the reader, according to the author, it is increasingly clear that the parents have been or should involved in the disappearance of their daughter and that while they have had help.

I did not come to the conclusion that something may have happened to her earlier in the week on a whim... I discovered some MAJOR discrepancies started happening on Tuesday and researched all the statements to try to pinpoint the day she was last seen... SUNDAY LUNCHTIME!

I have TWO VERY LONG threads collating some of the research. I don't 'guess' I worked hard to try to find ANYTHING that I considered proof... In 6 years or more, I have NEVER found anything...

Note: It doesn't mean she wasn't seen, but there is nothing to prove she was!

Within this scope, with the relentless support of those who will not let this case pass into obscurity, who do not tolerate the leaving of unanswered questions, there are many who follow Amaral’s dissatisfaction, and whom, like him, urge for the day the truth, or some more of it will emerge.

During the last months of 2009, a group of Gonçalo Amaral friends realised that it would be impossible for him to face the costs of his defence in the civil suit that was filed against him personally – as well as against others – brought by the McCann couple and their children, in response to his book “Maddie, A Verdade Da Mentira”.

Lawsuits in Portugal are expensive, like anywhere else in the world, and the Portuguese State will only help funding legal costs if one is completely destitute. With part of his pension and the total of his assets frozen, Gonçalo Amaral would not be able to cover the legal expenses; what was left of his pension was barely enough to meet everyday living costs, but it was more than enough for the State to refuse financial support. 

Therefore, his friends decided to open a private bank account, where funds would be kept to pay, whenever necessary and whenever possible, expenses that were presented by Mr Amaral’s lawyer. Projecto Justiça Gonçalo Amaral was born out of solidarity and friendship.

The trial is ongoing, since 2009, nothing has changed, pending final judgment. We continue to accept your donations only into this one bank account and we continue to meet only legal expenses out of that very same account.

If any funds are left unused, they will be donated to a Portuguese children’s charity, according to Gonçalo Amaral’s wishes.
