Do you still think banning Gonçalo Amaral's book was a good thing, Kate and Gerry?

Posted on a forum - and it's not even a Maddie forum.

"Anyone here follow what happened to Madeleine McCann? Explosive New Book BANNED in UK...

for telling the truth!

Gonsalo Amaral was the lead detective on the case. He was essentially told to step down because investigating the case leads to the McCanns, a dead Madeleine in the hotel room and Gerry McCann carrying her body out in the night. Of course, this is not politically correct, that Truth thing.

Amaral's book is free and translated to English here:

The chapters are actually quite short.

In chapter 8, a large family of witnesses, the Smiths of Ireland also on vacation there when Madeleine went missing, have always maintained that they saw a man carrying a child matching her description down the street that night. This would seem to support that LIAR Jane Tanner's story except in her LIE it is Robert Murat going in the opposite direction. It was dark, and the Smith's description of the man was more about his size and walk, although they are certain it was not Robert Murat.

In Chapter 20, the Smith's see Gerry on TV carrying one of the twins and realize that he is exactly the man they saw back then.

Then the detective got fired!"
