AXED Baby P boss Sharon Shoesmith could walk away with a £1.5MILLION pension pot, a senior peer revealed last night.

Lib Dem pensions spokesman Lord Oakeshott said it would be “sickening” if Haringey’s shamed Head of Children’s Services pocketed such a huge sum.

He will today demand details of Mrs Shoesmith’s entitlement.

And he will ask if it can be reduced — or even scrapped.

Outraged local Lib Dem MP Lynne Featherstone said: “If this woman receives £1.5million in pension entitlement, as is being estimated, it is akin to blood money.”

The attacks came as it was revealed a SECOND child in the North London borough has been badly hurt in a suspected abuse case.
