Dr David Payne, a surgeon at Leicester Royal Infirmary, suspected of paedophilia

Here's a very good observation from a poster on the 3 Arguido's:

"None of the TV or press outlets have shown any hesitation in plastering images of innocent little blonde girls all over the globe, for no other reason than that they happen to vaguely resemble Madeleine, or their parents are unfortunate enough to employ a childminder of Middle Eastern appearance. Even the 2 year old son of a Croatian footballer has been displayed to the world.

All these people are expected to put up with the publicity in the quest to find Madeleine, yet a serious allegation about a member of the Tapas group, given to UK police by two friends and colleagues of the parents, just gets no mention at all. Even the PJ do not seem to have been told if the allegation was investigated or not.

It is the disparity between what the innocent public are expected to put up with and the protection afforded to the Tapas group which gets me.

Even Mrs Fenn was subjected to being hounded by the media for doing her civic duty, so why not any members of the McCann circle?"

----

Why, indeed, has Dr David Payne, a surgeon from Leicester Royal Infirmary, not even defended himself from this allegation?

Thanks to the McCanns, no blonde blue-eyed child is safe from suspicion: article here - yet a suspected paedophile is? Why?
