Kate McCann v. Karen Matthews: Spot the difference

Karen Matthews is said to have lied to police repeatedly during the hunt for her daughter.

She is accused of concealing information that would have led to the discovery of her daughter.

She is said to have willfully neglected her daughter in a manner likely to cause unnecessary suffering or injury to her health.

Ms Matthews maintained that she did not know where Shannon was during the days that she was missing from home.

Shannon is now in the care of social services, as are three of her siblings.

Shannon’s disappearance led to one of the largest search operations in the history of the West Yorkshire force, involving more than 300 officers and 60 detectives.

Shannon has been found alive.

Karen Matthews, who lives in a council house, is in custody awaiting trial which starts on 11 November 2008.

Can you see where I'm going with this? :)

Kate McCann is said to have lied to police repeatedly during the hunt for her daughter.

She is accused of concealing information (by not answering 48 questions) that would have led to the discovery of her daughter.

She is said to have willfully neglected her daughter in a manner likely to cause unnecessary suffering or injury to her health.

Kate McCann maintains that she does not know where Madeleine is during the days that she is missing from home.

Sean and Amelie are not in the care of social services.

Madeleine's disappearance led to one of the largest search operations in the world, including British Secret Services and the government.

The Portuguese police have concluded there was no abduction and that Madeleine died in the apartment and that the McCanns concealed her body and staged an abduction.

Eddie and Keela detected blood and cadaver, signalling Madeleine's death.

Kate McCann is free to carry on collecting donations for the fraudulent Fund...

... whilst Gerry McCann is free to carry on working in the NHS - a service which willfully neglects some of its patients to the point of letting them die to save money. No wonder the NHS is reluctant to relieve him of his duties....dead patients don't cost the NHS a thing.
