NHS & The McCanns: Abuse of Power

"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." Martin Luther King.

Hello, and welcome to my blog.

This blog came about because of my experience with Leicester Royal Infirmary and Glenfield Hospital. Briefly, my husband was diagnosed with an
inoperable and terminal condition in 2003, by Sir Professor Peter Bell. He was given 1-2 years to live. To cut a long story short, I researched the internet and corresponded with surgeons around the world and discovered that my husband wasn't actually inoperable at all. My 18 month battle with the NHS to secure a life-saving operation, against a ticking clock, is here on my NHS Death Row blog.

Anyway, the reason I became interested in the Madeleine McCann case - well, apart from the obvious reason that she was a young child who disappeared under mysterious circumstances (due to negligence from 2 NHS doctors) - was because Gerry McCann works for Glenfield Hospital (same department) and my battle with the NHS was between Leicester Royal Infirmary and Glenfield Hospital. I can reluctantly kind of understand negligence towards my husband, for the sake of saving money - but negligence towards your own child and then the obvious circus that ensued to make money from her? Madeleine's plight has kept many thousands of people gripped and shocked, including me.

It is clear that there is a 'Pact of Silence' from the British media and government regarding this case and this blog is my attempt to 'do my bit' to help ensure the truth comes out about what happened to little Maddie and that justice is rightly served upon her.

I also experienced a 'Pact of Silence' from the NHS and government - and I wrote a book about the ordeal called "The Silent Treatment" (with the help of a ghostwriter in the USA). I am of the opinion that Sir Professor Peter Bell abused his position of power to play God - he certainly went to extraordinary lengths to keep vital information from me. I also believe the McCann's are abusing their position of power by trying to ensure their daughter does not receive justice whilst they, themselves, escape it.

Some people may 'accidentally' arrive on this blog having only searched for information about the NHS,
Postcode Lottery, Glenfield Hospital or Leicester Royal Infirmary, etc, possibly having heard of Maddie's plight but believing what is published in British newspapers, and not realising just how many bloggers are actively seeking justice for an innocent 3 year old girl. I like to think of this blog as a filing cabinet of various information - a reference library for those who arrive here unsuspecting! They may well leave here with a different point of view. I hope so, if it helps to raise awareness.

Madeleine no longer has a voice. She is now reliant upon people like Gonçalo Amaral, Duarte levy, Tony Bennett, Paulo Reis, Joana Morais and the many forums and bloggers, who are in pursuit of the truth for her.

As Martin Luther King said "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter."

Thank you for stopping by - and if you have any information that you think could be posted on this blog, please use the comments box.

Drs Gerry and Kate McCann: Maddie died in apartment, there was no abduction says Portuguese Public Ministry

Possibly the worst scandal to derive from Glenfield Hospital is that of Dr Gerry McCann, a cardiologist, and his NHS GP wife Kate who, with the help of their friends (some of whom are also NHS doctors), staged an abduction of their three year old daughter, Madeleine McCann, then concealed her body and set about to frame Robert Murat (who has since received compensation).

The Portuguese police believe Madeleine died in their holiday apartment in Praia de Luz, Portugal, based on the findings of two British sniffer dogs Eddie and Keela - who detected cadaver odour and blood spray on the walls, on the floor, behind the sofa, in her parent's bedroom, on Kate's clothes and bible, on an item of Maddie's clothing and her Cuddle Cat toy, and on the key fob and in the boot of their rented Renault Scenic that they hired twenty five days after Maddie was allegedly abducted. The investigation concluded there was NO evidence of an abduction, that it had been staged - which makes their Find Madeleine Fund fraudulent.

Kate and Gerry McCann, despite having left a three year old to babysit her two year old twin siblings, every night of their holiday, while they wined and dined some 100 yards away, insist they checked on their children every thirty minutes. However, for a cadaver (death scent) odour to develop, Maddie would have to be dead for around two hours.

The McCann's set up a "Leave No Stone Unturned" campaign, based on the name of a police forensic manual they had in their possession, to collect money in order to search for their daughter - their mortgage has been paid with money from this Fund.

Dr Gerry McCann and his wife, Kate, were made 'arguido's' (formal suspects) in the disappearance of their own child and Gerry McCann returned to work within the NHS.

During the interview in which Kate McCann was made arguido, she refused to answer 48 questions that would have helped the investigators find Madeleine. One of the questions was "Is it true that in England you considered the possibility of handing over Madeleine's guardianship to a relative?"

After an extensive investigation the Public Ministry concluded that Maddie died, that there was no abduction, and that Kate and Gerry were negligent. They submitted their findings to the public prosecutor who concluded that, despite much evidence, there was not enough proof to bring charges and, for the time being, until more evidence, or Madeleine's body, is found then the case will be archived.

It has become known that the Chief Investigator, Gonçalo Amaral, was removed from the investigation after pressure by Gordon Brown was applied to the Portuguese government.

Gonçalo Amaral has published a book called "Maddie: The Truth of the Lie", in which he describes his own findings on the investigation.

Eddie and Keela, the British sniffer dogs who detected blood and the scent of death have never been wrong. Watch them alerting dog handler Martin Grimes to their findings in McCanns apartment and car on this video or click picture to watch youtube video.

So if Keela detected blood and Eddie detected the scent of a dead body in apartment 5A, and the McCanns insist Maddie has been abducted and is still alive, then whose corpse was found in the apartment and their car - and why did the McCanns get rid of this 'unknown corpse' in the Renault Scenic? Did the abductor do a swap in his small, five minute window of opportunity? A dead body for a live child?
